Job Description:
The Senior Developer will be collaborating with strategy, user experience, and design to code and develop to produce innovative, scalable and effective experiences to meet our client’s goals. The Senior Developer will execute high-quality Sitecore solutions on time and on budget using modern web development methods. The Senior Developer will be the development team member of the team and will be responsible for creating an environment that allows great work to be produced.

The Senior Developer will:

• Develop Sitecore templates, layouts, and ASP.NET MVC renderings for web applications, allowing marketers/clients to manage their own content and utilize CMS capabilities (60%)
• Apply latest design patterns, practices, and industry standards within Sitecore, .NET, C#, and other enterprise web technologies throughout the software lifecycle process (10%)
• Define and detail technical requirements of the user stories as devised from the functional and business requirements which then translates into sizeable unit of development task(s) with tangible output for Sitecore Solutions(5%)
• Apply knowledge in subjects such as software development methodologies, object-oriented programming, and database design and development to evaluate requirements and create design strategy (5%)
• Perform Sitecore Technical Evaluation of existing solutions to determine the current state of the implementation and provide subject matter expertise and recommendations on areas of improvement(5%)
• Develop Software Modules and Web Services in languages such as C# to meet technical requirements of the software product(5%)
• Assist associate developers by training and mentoring them in best practices in software development and complete code reviews to ensure the software deliverable is on par with industry standards(5%)
• Perform performance tuning exercises in the production environment to ensure the application is optimized for heavy loads during runtime(5%)
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues in the solution and perform remediation to resolve the issues(5%)
• Deploy code into technical environments pursuant to client requirements and specifications
• Conduct unit and integration testing of code to ensure elimination of technical errors
• Collaborate with external clients and internal multi-discipline teams in meetings/sprints and
• Utilize Microsoft.Net framework, SQL Server, Sitecore CMS, C#, C#.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, Visual Studio.Net, XML, DHTML, HTML, CSS, HTTP Protocol, Java Script, Ajax, and Web Services.
• Angular – more front end focus.

The Senior Developer should have:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems or closely related technical discipline
• 5+ years’ experience in software design architecting digital solutions using technologies such as Sitecore, .Net, C#, SQL Server, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
• Strong verbal and email communication skills. Communications with development staff and internal business partners will be frequent and the candidate must communicate clearly and professionally
• Ability to work independently
• A strong focus on quality
• Experience working with the Agile methodology
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills enabling comprehension of complex business and application issues
• Helix (highly preferred)
• Mongo DB – PAAS (highly preferred)
• CI/CD (highly preferred)

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $85.00 - $110.00 per hour
