SharePoint Lead Developer in Chicago, IL  - (Remote till Contract ends)

Must have skills: Kubernetes, .NET Core, Sharepoint Online, Angular 8, Azure DevOps

Client is building a new Agile Development team to support our Knowledge Management function.
The IT Lead Developer will report to the Global IT Director of Knowledge Systems Architecture and Development and will participate as a member the Knowledge Systems development team supporting the larger program.
Software development leveraging Dot Net full stack technologies
Development of proof of concept code and applications
Development of APIs and microservices
Working with a continuous delivery toolchain
Working with Azure-based services.
Experienced with SharePoint integrations.
Supporting technical and business owners during solution ideation efforts.
Evaluate and compare potential software solutions, including off-the-shelf and open source components, and the system architecture
Facilitating a joint understanding of the outcomes of technology change and eliciting clear statements of requirements.
Working with highly technical staff and outsource teams, working on multiple projects towards a common end goal throughout the development lifecycle.
Reviewing low level technical designs and/or code created relevant to project assignments
Application architecture and design
Solid understanding of application integration with various products, capabilities etc using both synchronous and asynchronous invocation options
Prior experience with designing solutions on Azure
Hands on experience in creating solutions using Dot Net technologies. Working knowledge of Angular 8, WebApi, Entity framework, is a MUST
Experience with writing client-side JavaScript using at least one industry standard framework (e.g. Angular, React) Experience working with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server
Prior hands on experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and services
Proficient in design patterns, object oriented design, micro-services, responsive web design and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
Defect resolution and performance monitoring of web applications
