SharePoint Developer (Remote)

CREO, Inc. is looking for an experienced SharePoint Developer to support our clients in the design and development of SharePoint intranet sites on the Office 365 platform.

This is a project-based contractor position. A mix of onsite and remote work is anticipated.

What You’ll Do

Your first project will be the redesign of a client’s current intranet site and the design and build out of an IT subsite. The key responsibilities for this project include the following:

• Review the client’s existing intranet site and the IT documentation for the proposed build out.
  
• Collaborate with HR and IT leadership to establish a strategy and high-level goals for the project.
• Develop low resolution sketches and mockups to illustrate the proposed design.
• Build one intranet homepage with 5 subpages and a corresponding IT page with 5 subpages. This includes completing at least one round of revisions per page.
• Create supporting graphics and graphical edits as required by the design.
• Provide a style guide brief for the client to utilize when creating additional pages.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  
• Experience translating business processes into technical solutions
• Experience building SharePoint intranet sites
• Deep understanding of SharePoint components, architecture, and related technologies (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server)
• Experience in UI design
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate the problem and solution to different audiences (both technical & non-technical)
