ServiceNow Developer (Remote)

Technalink is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join our team to assist our federal client.

As a ServiceNow Developer you'll work with the Service Management team on developing and configuring ServiceNow applications and solutions to implement system stakeholder requirements. Perform hands-on design, development, and modification to extend capabilities offered by the ServiceNow platform. Build customized ServiceNow applications, apply technical expertise, leverage a variety of software engineering techniques, and build and refine business logic to enhance team capabilities, improve security, and maximize ServiceNow ROI. Exhibit thought leadership resulting in new technical capabilities and approaches.

Basic Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience with Web development, including X-HTML, CSS3, SQL, XML, or Angular and at least one of the following back-end technologies: JavaScript, including PHP, .NET, Java, or ColdFusion
• 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow development, including core ITSM tables, Glide, scripting, business rules, client scripts, data imports, custom apps, and development methods
• Experience with development on ServiceNow Service Management Suite, including Asset, Change, Configuration (CMDB), cost, facilities, field service, finance, incident, legal, marketing, problem, release, request, planned maintenance, and SLA management
• Experience with implementing scripted Web services in ServiceNow, jQuery, or Prototype libraries, Java, and CMDB or asset integrations in ServiceNow
• Knowledge of REST and SOAP Web services protocols
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile development methodology
• Experience with requirements management and JIRA or similar RTM platforms
• Knowledge of SAML, Active Directory, or LDAP
• ServiceNow Certification, Certified Application Developer, Certified System Administrator or ITILv3 Foundations Certification
• Ability to work with stakeholders to define requirements
• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
