The Sr. SNOW Engineer is responsible forthe integration and hands-on implementation of new capabilities and managingexisting capabilities for federal agencies in support of the project orcustomer requirements. The Sr. SNOW Engineer will work closely with architects,design engineers, and integrators to assess customer requirements and to deployand extend capabilities offered by the COTS and custom tools and supportdashboard data requirements. Additionally, you will serve as a trusted advisor,providing subject matter expertise, guidance, and applying best practices.

Mandatory

Experience as a ServiceNow subject matterexpert and hands-on experience with tool deployment, configuration, andcustomization of core applications 5+

Experience and use of the keytechnologies and relevant APIs relevant to ServiceNow and integrationincluding: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, JASON,JavaScript 4-5+

Experience implementing 3rd partyintegrations with the ServiceNow platform, such as ForeScout, IBM BigFix,Microsoft SCCM, Tenable, etc. 4-5+

Preferred

Understanding and use of Microsoft SQLdatabase, database definition, procedures, and advanced SQL 3+

Experience using VirtualizationTechnologies, such as VMware, vSphere, Xen 3+

Understanding and use of the ServiceNowRelational Database Management System (RDBMS), query language, schemas, keys,references and relations (one-to-many and many-to-one) 3+

Job Responsibilities

Minimum of ServiceNow Certified SystemAdministrator Certification; additional Mainline certifications preferred

CISSP Certification is preferred

  • ServiceNow Certified ApplicationDeveloper is a plus
  • ITIL and/or Agile Scrum certificationis a plus

Design, integrate, deploy, operate, andmaintain tools and capabilities in enterprise on premise and Cloud environments

  • Develop installation, configuration,and deployment methods including scripting, use of APIs, orchestration,automation, and database services to support the integration and configurationof applications and security technologies
  • Work with architects, integration engineers, and developers to design solutionsand improve data quality, security, and compliance or extend currentcapabilities and offerings to customers
  • Assess system designs to validate themagainst expected technical parameters in support of the data model
  • Identify, analyze, define, and coordinate user, customer, and stakeholder needsand translates them into hardware and software requirements
  • Identify and manage solutiondependencies with other systems and elements of the enterprise ITinfrastructure
  • Identify technical risks and developmitigation strategies
  • Perform data validation, analysis, warehousing,and data mining to improve Data Consistency and address gaps
  • Develop and maintain detailed installation documentation and SOPs as required
  • Provide best practice guidance togovernment customers including deployment and integration strategies to supportHardware Asset management (HWAM), Software Asset Management (SWAM),Vulnerability Management (VUL) and other integrations, like ForeScout, IBMBigFix, Microsoft SCCM, Tenable, etc.
  • Create technical documentation,diagrams, guides, schedules, and other deliverables to support internal andexternal customers
  • Provide tool operations and maintenancesupport, Tier 3 customer support, and act as the subject matter expert
  • Provide mentoring and support to otherengineers
