ROLE Senior Web Application Developer INDUSTRY Precision Optics Industry DURATION 18 month contract LOCATION fully Remote, reporting to Raleigh, NC 27617 or NYC, NY 10001
Role Description:
We are looking for a Senior Web Application Engineer that can contribute their expertise in building a transformative solution that will revolutionize the way consulting firms execute. This individual's primary focus will be on design and implementation of a scalable and maintainable web application user's experience, but not limited to web development. She or he will also contribute the design and implementation of all technical tiers within an event-driven, microservice, enterprise environment. Along with their development contribution, the individual will also contribute to helping to shape a highly efficient, agile, and continuous delivery software production environment.
Qualifications:
B.S. or M.S. in computer science or related field from an accredited university
5 – 8 years of formal experience in development enterprise web applications
Formal experience developing responsive and progressive web applications
Formal experience with client-side UI technologies and frameworks specifically but not limited to JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Stencil, CSS, NPM, Yarn, Lodash, ...
2 - 3 years of Java development experience or comparable object-oriented design and language experience
Experience with developing micro-frontend using web components is a plus
Experience with developing native mobile applications is a plus
RESTful web service design and implementation experience is a plus
Web application security is a plus
Experience with leveraging cloud services (IAAS, PAAS and SAAS) is a plus
