Job Description
My client is a private social media subscription service and it has been privately funded and about to enter beta phase before launch in 2022
The client urgently needs a Frontend software engineer needed to join their growing team as they develop a new version of their product with exciting new features. They have an agile workflow with a focus on efficient development and short cycle times. Targeting pilot launch in just a few months time, it's a great time to join!
Core tech stack used in the company:
vue.js + vuex
Ruby on Rails (JSON API backend)
Heroku deployment
AWS, Mailchimp, Stripe
iOS (Swift) and Android (Java) apps
Responsibilities of the role:
Developing the UI for new features
Using vuex for state management
Writing tests to ensure stability
Reporting progress in daily standups
Code review
Experience Required:
? Strong software engineering background. Experience with vue.js+vuex
? Experience with lean approach (small release cycles, agile workflows, CI/CD).
The role is for 6 months, outside ir35, starting ASAP, fully remote.
