Position Description
As Braintrust’s first UX Designer, your primary role will be to lead and oversee the user experiences across the platform.
You will work closely with the product team and operations team to create experiences that outperform any other platform. Braintrust is a user-controlled platform meaning you’ll be designing for community members, enterprise clients, and the Braintrust core team as we amplify the product ten-fold.
Responsibilities:
Build a UX vision with a strong point of view to catapult our product to set a new standard in online marketplaces.
Work closely with the Product team to identify user challenges and create innovative experiences that revolutionize how people interact with Braintrust.
Work closely with the Operations team to design back-end/admin functions and reports that help Braintrust scale manual processes in a way that can be adopted by community members.
Build relationships with the Braintrust community of talent and clients to understand their core needs, pain points, and work with these teams to create one of a kind, memorable experiences.
Independently design and maintain wireframes, mockups, UI prototypes, and specifications
When necessary, build-out freelancer design pods to scale efforts
Immerse yourself in the world of marketplaces, the future of work, and blockchain technology to understand the full vision and potential lasting impact of your design vision.
Translate new blockchain technology into seamless and easy to understand experiences to make the world of Cryptocurrency easy and accessible.
Required Experience
Previously held senior positions in high growth start-ups..
Strong portfolio demonstrating taking complex processes and making them easy for every user.
Experience in designing enterprise SaaS web applications (Bonus Points: experience with two-sided marketplaces)
Strong commitment to the core values of the Braintrust team and a demonstrated willingness to fully understand the bigger mission.

This is a remote position that can be done from nearly anywhere as long as you’re working close to US business hours (EST/CST/MST/PST). There will be zero to minimal travel required.
