Senior User Experience Designer

We are looking for a senior user experience designer with strong interests and expert capabilities in the design and development of engaging user experiences. The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. This individual excels at providing both highly analytical as well as highly creative ideas to a design engagement. The candidate will also have extensive experience in a fast-paced and innovative development environment. A thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies is a must.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Five (5) years’ experience with website promotion creation/placement/management AND
• Two (2) years’ experience running A/B testing campaigns (Optimizely, Adobe Test & Target) OR
• Equivalent combination of education and experience

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite applications including Photoshop and Illustrator
• Extensive knowledge with SEO best practices
• Knowledge of User Experience (UX) and Usability best practices
• Good knowledge of user experience, site usability requirements, and an overall great design sense
• Strong time management and organizational skills. Attention to detail is absolutely critical
• Excellent collaboration and team-building skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of Web authoring tools and coding languages such as html, CSS, and JavaScript
• Working knowledge of publishing with content management systems (Drupal, AEM, WordPress, etc.) * Knowledge of project management tools like JIRA
• Working knowledge of Web Analytics, including dashboards and reports
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
