Clover Consulting has a large, DIRECT CLIENT in the Springfield, IL area in need of a Lead Tableau Developer for a long term, remote contract. Primary Responsibilities Utilize and blend data across programs and agencies developing advanced algorithms andor scripts to improve health care and human services outcomes and delivery, assessing and measuring program effectiveness and performance, and reducing costs achieving financial benefit Improve the delivery and management of health and human services programs by utilizing advanced analytics including but not limited to advanced algorithms, data visualizations, and maps Creating, developing, and administrating the Tableau dashboards design, development, and implementation and support production Tableau servers Performing and collaborating in modeling, designing, and implementation of data warehouse data marts delivering reporting and data analytics using PLSQL, Tableau, SAP Business Objects, and Teradata tools Gathering business requirements and preparing analyses based on information from internal and external sources to evaluate and demonstrate program effectiveness and efficiency supporting projects and change requests Creating and maintaining metadata Tableau framework views data marts Developing and maintaining complex SQL queries andor scripts used to create data marts in Teradata Participating in project discussions to document and recommend alternative technical solutions or requirements Participating in unit, integration, and system testing Maintaining effective communication and relationships with all individuals involved with the project Learning new technologies as needed to be able to perform job duties effectively Providing status progress and meeting deliverables to leadership Required Qualifications More than 6 years of experience developing, implementing, and maintaining Tableau dashboards, visualizations, and analytics More than 5 years of experience analyzing and delivering complex analytics using Medicaid claims, enrollment data, and EDIX12 837, 277, and 835 data Must be an outstanding communicator with expertise delivering solutions and speaking to an executive level audience Proven strong SQL developer with more than five years of experience developing complex BTEQ or stored procedures and performance tuning At least two years of data warehouse project experience At least two years Teradata version 14+ experience including SQL Assistant Excellent verbalwritten communication skills, end client facing skills, team collaboration, and mentoring skills Bachelors or Advanced Degree in a related field such as Information TechnologyComputer Science, MathematicsStatistics, Analytics, Business Technology Strong organization skills and ability to set priorities and schedule work deadlines Adapting to and collaborating with the team and organizational culture Preferred Qualifications More than two years creating innovative visual Tableau solutions using EDIX12 837, 277, and 835 data 2+ years of Tableau Server Administrative experience.
