Key Purpose
Coller Capital’s Systems Administration group provide an interface between the Service Desk, Development/Testing/Reporting team and Vendors.

This role is responsible for Coller Capital’s Production services uptime and availability through Incident, Problem and Change Management. Services include Email, Data Integrity, Remote Working, Document Management, Web Services, IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. Managing availability of Non-Production services for Coller Capital’s Development and SDLC. Responsible and accountable for Coller Capital’s on premise server Infrastructure, services and operations across 3 global sites, plus managing OS upwards at Data Centre facilities and Azure Cloud.

Security and Connectivity disciplines for our clients, supporting the Coller Capital Network Management handoffs. Including Firewall, VPN, Radius and Proxy/Threat Management Gateway technologies.

An IT Operations resource for Project initiatives and providing and a 3rd tier escalation channel for the Service Desk. Whilst delivering Continual Service Improvement initiatives, validating and providing architectural solutions working with 3rd parties.

Being a capable resource and part of the team responsible for Disaster Recovery and BCP processes.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Work to Service Desk ticket system, to progress Incident and Request tickets & manage Problems.
  • Manage and maintain Infrastructure, OS, Service and Data Backup & Recovery, including outside core business hours
  • Maintain necessary Alert and Health check capabilities in liaison with the Hosted Suppliers to optimise Operational Management and Controls
  • Ensure Windows Updates/Security Updates are regularly applied to our Server and Infrastructure estate
  • Incident and Problem Management investigations/resolutions
  • Maintain repeatable Change/Release and Maintenance activities within the group to support the demands of Business SLA’s
  • Maintain technical support relationship with the Development, Test and Reporting teams
  • Maintain technical support relationship with all vendors and suppliers to support the demands of Business SLA’s
  • Administration and design of key enterprise applications such as Exchange, IIS and Active Directory, including DNS, DHCP, ADFS and GPO
  • Maintenance for all on premise physical server infrastructure, Servers, Storage and Appliances
  • Input to Continuous Service Improvement Initiatives affecting the Systems and Database Administration function
  • Configure, maintain and support virtualisation technologies across Coller’s global offices
  • Support and maintain Citrix XenApp environment
  • Support Mobile Device Management
  • Implementation and Support of O365 subscription, Licensing, Services, EMS & OneDrive
  • Working as architect/enabler within IT projects, providing technical guidance and translating requirements into infrastructure solutions
  • Responsible for installation, configuration and deployment of all Windows Server operating systems
  • Responsibility for SaaS/Cloud solution connectivity, brokering and security of.
  • 3rd tier escalation channel for the Service Desk
  • Operation management of Disaster Recovery and BCP processes, including testing
  • Supporting Security and Connectivity disciplines for our clients, aiding the Coller Capital Network Management handoffs. Darktrace, SIEM, Mimecast process and management

Qualifications & Experience
ESSENTIAL

  • Advanced experience in the following roles: Systems Administrator, Windows Systems Administrator
  • Windows Server 2016 and 2012 Operating systems
  • Active Directory
  • Exchange 2013/2016 & Exchange Online
  • Email Security/Threat Management, Continuity, Archiving and Journaling
  • IIS/Web Services
  • Understanding of advanced networking
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems
  • O365 Administration
  • Azure AD, ADFS SAML/SSO
  • VMWare
  • Mobile Device Management
  • Good understanding of Digital Certificates

DESIRABLE
  • Azure platform
  • Citrix administration
  • Cisco CCNA
  • Radius/NPS Authentication
  • Good understanding of MS SQL
  • IP Telephony
