What You’ll Do:
We’re looking for an experienced Backend MERN (MongoDB, Express, React and Node) Stack developer for secure, performance, and scalable backend systems to join our Team. You’ll work with our team of analysts, developers, designers, and product managers within our agile development process.
As a Senior Software Engineer on the App Services team you will:
- Design and develop innovative solutions that solve tough challenges.
- Maintain high quality of work products, including quality, understandable code.
- Be part of our team and actively collaborate, communicate, and engage in building
- products.
- Manage multiple job duties through efficient task management.
- Provide guidance to less experienced personnel.
- Communicate effectively with business partners and clients when needed.
- Be able to hit the ground running.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field
- (or Equivalent Experience)
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- 5+ Years Backend Development Experience with Mongo
- 5+ Years full stack development experience using a MERN (Mongo, Express, React
- and Node) Stack
- 5+ years database design and development experience with MongoDB NoSQL database
- Experience architecting and developing highly-scalable, fault-tolerant APIs
- Understanding of Agile development practices and best practices
- Experience with one or more of the following: API security, REST, SOAP
...and if you also have any of the following, even better!
- Development experience with HTML, CSS, and modern Javascript UX frameworks (we
- use React).
- Mobile application Development experience
- Experience with (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Experience interfacing with clients.
- Experience in a healthcare or public health environment.
