Job Description

A healthcare client is looking for a Software Engineer to fill a remote year long contract role. This person will impact the design and development of the company’s core products, including existing and new applications and services. They will help design solutions, makes recommendations and participates in design reviews. The Sr. Software Engineer translates requirements into functional specifications and will work cooperatively and effectively to deliver products according to specifications and schedule. They will be supporting state government projects relating to Medicaid and Early Childhood Intervention services.They will be working on all existing modules within a larger system, but doing new web services work within the existing application

Minimum Requirements

-5-7 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer on an agile team

-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science

-Experience writing high quality C# code across web applications, web APIs, console applications, etc.

-Experience developing ASP.NET applications (MVC, Razor Pages, WebForms)

-Experience developing web frontends using JavaScript and/or TypeScript

-Experience maintaining or modernizing legacy applications

-Strong knowledge of modern web development techniques and tools (NPM, Gulp, LESS, Bootstrap)

-Experience designing relational databases

-Strong written communication

-Comfortable working remotely

Desired Skills

-AWS implementation and administration

-Docker, Kubernetes, or SOA
