An entertainment company located in Costa Mesa that specializes in Nascar racing is looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is proficient with C++. You would be joining one of the three teams to help write software to win races, focusing on 100% new development. This Senior Software Engineer will be a key contributor in building their virtual simulation platform for configuring and testing car setups before races.

The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of Software Engineering experience and 5 years’ proficiency with C++. Any experience with JavaScript, Node.js and AWS is a plus.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years Software Engineering

5+ years proficiency with C++

Experience troubleshooting, debugging & root cause analysis

Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Desired Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineer, Computer Science or equivalent

What You Will Be Doing

Tech Breakdown

30% Front End (JavaScript, React)

70% Back End (Ruby, Rails)

Daily Responsibilities

80% New Development

20% Maintenance

The Offer

Competitive Pay: Up to $80/hour, DOE

Contract Duration: 1 year contract with extension or being flipped over
