Vertical Trail LLC is a rapidly growing consultancy focused on delivering Modern Analytics, Big Data, and Cloud solutions.
Vertical Trail is looking for a strong Senior Power BI Developer to work closely with our project teams. This Senior Power BI Developer will play a key role in bridging the business and the data warehouse. The successful candidate will understand overall business goals and then guide them to successful visualizations in Power BI.
Candidates must be able to work for Vertical Trail as a W2 employee. Vertical Trail is not considering third-party or contract candidates for this role.
Our Senior Power BI Developer will be responsible for:
· Identifying and understanding business data needs and objectives to create design solutions for visual data delivery
· Developing multiple visualization concepts that bring context to complex data challenges
· Designing interactive executive dashboards tools that are highly scalable
· Executing reporting across multiple data sources to support BI needs
Senior Power BI Developer Requirements:
· 5+ years of working experience in Power BI dashboard development
· Fluent in SQL
· Experience building DAX Functions in Power BI
· Experience with Power Query and Power Pivot
· Experience building and optimizing SQL Views in a relational database or data warehouse
· Preferred experience with cloud technology, like AWS or Azure or GCP
