Senior Network Architect (Mobile) - Telecoms - £465 per day - Umbrella (Inside IR35 only)Our client is a UK leading Telecoms company who are committed to providing the highest quality products and services. They are looking for a Senior Network Architect to join their team.

Location
  • Reading, Hammersmith, Birmingham or Manchester (flexible on location)
  • Remote working for now

    26 weeks

    Working Hours
    Monday – Friday (9am – 5:30pm)

    Rate (Inside IR35 only)
  • £370 per day PAYE + Holiday
  • £465 per day through a Hays approved Umbrella company

    • Job Overview
    You will be joining to look after our client’s Mobile Network, the network is currently based abroad, therefore we are looking for something to bring this together in the UK and who understands this network piece. You will be involved in every project or change that affects the mobile network. You will need to know the systems capabilities and be able to contribute opinions around this.

    Key Responsibilities
  • Understand company strategic direction and contribute towards defining system specifications
  • Contribute with the planning, design and structure of E2E Mobile solution
  • Communicate system requirements
  • Assist in evaluate and selecting appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods
  • Contribute and oversea assigned programs on behalf of Mobile operations function and provide guidance to team members
  • Assist with solving technical problems when they arise
  • Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure
  • Address technical concerns, ideas and suggestions
  • Ongoing evaluation of in-life systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals
  • Ability to present and advise at senior / exec levels

    • Experience Required
  • MUST have experience with Mobile Networks.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Architect or IT/Core Network specialist in a Mobile
  • MNO / MVNO environment.
  • Hands-on experience with software development and system administration/integration
  • Understanding of strategic IT solutions
  • Experience in project management and service-oriented architecture (SOA)
  • Familiarity in Mobile Core Network architecture
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Organisational and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with various operating systems (, Windows, UNIX) and databases (, MySQL)
  • Familiarity in cloud technologies (, VMware)
