Senior .Net Developer (Remote)

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

· Use Microsoft .NET Framework and a supported MVC framework, VB.Net programming language to development of the applications.

· Senior level full-stack development experience with .Net technologies.

· Responsible for support of the LimsNet application and the LIMS API using ASP.Net and Oracle skills

· Assist internal users with STARLIMS application.

· Provide technical assistance for outbound HL7 messages to CDC, D-REX and PHINMS using the Rhapsody application.

· Acquire a knowledge of lab processes

· Become familiar with laboratory instrument interfaces, and create new interfaces in STARLIMS

· Responsible for configuration of new assays in STARLIMS and creation of scripts to import instrument data files to STARLIMS.

· Solve production technical issues with STARLIMS, and LimsNet reports as needed.

· Create data extracts for insurance billing, institutional billing, and grant requirements.

· Work with program area team on technical issues including system design and testing.

· Analyzing information to recommend and plan the development and implementation of new systems or modifications of an existing system.

· Work with Program team members on detailed business requirements, understanding business processes and technology, agency standards, and ensuring project goal alignment.

· Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.

· Have ability to work independently and under general supervision with opportunity for independent judgment.

· Other responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Experience:

· 10+ years of Information Technology working experience.

· 7+ years of working experience with ASP.NET, C#, MVC, and SQL/Oracle DB.

· Experience with LIMS and STARLIMS applications preferred.

· Experience in analysis and addressing security related issues for applications built in multiple languages.

· Current working experience with Web Services.

· Expert understanding of SDLC.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to solve complex programming issues.

· Experience in Healthcare Industry is a plus.

Educational Qualification:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related fields with IT experience.

Salary: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
