Senior Mobile Developer - Central London
My client are looking for a Mobile (Android and iOS) Developer to work on multiple development projects, building applications to design specifications and pushing mobile technology to the limits. They are one of the largest supply companies in the world in their sector and will provide and great opportunity, even for an experienced contractor.
Developer Responsibilities:
Creating mobile apps in iOS & Android and contributing to the design
Working within a small agile team
Conducting design and code reviews, to ensure apps meet requirements
Proactively critiquing current solutions and suggesting improvements
Responsibilities:
Design and build advanced applications for the iOS & Android platform
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Work with outside data sources and APIs
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Requirements:
JavaScript / HTML5 / REST API / Mobile Development
Xamarin native development experience
Strong knowledge of mobile design principles
Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
Desirable:
Proven software development experience in Android & iOS development
Knowledge of developing Xamarin Native apps for android and Xamarin Cloud
REST/OData/Web API
Entity Framework
Module-based development
Used to agile/scrum development approach
Rate: £450-£550/day
Location: Central London
Length: 6 months + Extensions
