Title: Senior Java Software Engineer – Fully Remote

Job Description

Our client, a world-renowned consulting firm, is currently looking for a Senior Java Engineer to work on a year (or longer) position. They have partnered with a client who is trying to migrate their systems from monolithic to microservices and help with implementing their CI/CD pipeline. This is an opportunity for an engineer to help with setting up the environment and then building it out.

Ideally, they are looking for a talented back-end engineer – skilled with Java, Spring Boot, REST, Microservices, Jenkins or Maven, and either AWS (preferred) or GCP. Any experience with Docker or Kubernetes or OpenShift is a plus. Again, this is a long-term contract (1+ yearlong) and pay rate will range from $60-80/hr depending on experience. This role will be fully-remote.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Looking for at least 6+ years of Java experience.
  • Experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST, Maven/Jenkins and AWS
  • Prior experience with helping set up a CI/CD pipeline
  • This will be a middle-tier/back-end role, helping with the build out of a Microservices architecture

    • Desired Skills & Experience

  • Any experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift is a plus
  • Understanding of Agile Development Methodologies.
  • Works well on a team that is located around the US
