Senior Java Developer (Contract) (Remote)

You will have the opportunity to develop next-generation technologies and support our client's needs. You will work with a stellar global team on our exciting projects. This position will provide you the ability to grow and advance within the organization.

This is a 6 month contract position that can work remotely from anywhere in the US.

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for software Design and Development:
• Responsible for debugging and finding issues and working on creating new pages.
• Ability to unit test, debug, and profile
• You will work with complex requirements and specification documents, and devise and develop appropriate software solutions
• Integrate into an existing development team and work with an existing extensive code base
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; as well as define problems, and develop methods to resolve them in a timely manner
• Development standards and quality:
  • Maintain the consistently high quality of the software code
  • Ensure the relevant coverage by unit tests and/or automated testing routines

Qualifications:

• 3+ years working on web services with strong experience with JSP, Javascript, core java, and Spring
• Experience working application development with core java 8+, apache camel, NDM and shell/perl scripts
• Deep functional knowledge and hands on experience with web services & server side programming
• Experience with messaging platforms such as IBM/JMS MQ or Kafka
• Knowledge of Oracle 12+
• Use of Unix
• Knowledge working in Financial industry –Plus
• Experience working with diverse technical teams
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Experience working on large scale applications
