 Senior Java Developer/Architect – AWS stack
100% remote – USA candidates only
SUMMARY
3+ month contract that is likely to get extended with an early stage tech company that is building technology to help keep people safe during the COVID pandemic, with other consumer technology products in the pipeline.
This team's primary focus is back-end development for the connectivity of mobile & web apps to an IoT device. The company currently has 3 part-time folks on this team, and are looking for this person to be more full-time as they push their product to market (product launch anticipation of October, 2020). This could turn into a lead role, or possibly a full time position down the road.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience with Java development
• 2+ years of experience with AWS Lambda
• 2+ years of experience with GitLab, ideally for AWS lifecycle management
• Excellent communication skills

• Node.JS experience
• Kubernetes experience
• Kafka or other data streaming experience
• Experience with other AWS services
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines
• IoT or hardware development experience
