Senior Infrastructure Migration Engineer – Datacentre Migration - London
In this role, we are looking to build an experienced data centre migration team to help us relocate one of our datacentres to a new Colo facility within a fast paced project environment. This senior technical leadership role will need to oversee the other technical resources in the team and ultimately be accountable for the technical quality of delivery.
You will be responsible for helping shape the migration strategy to include planning, service migration model (big bang, phased), method of data load during migration execution whilst also providing technical delivery and support to the delivery team. Stakeholder management and being process driven are key skills as well as the ability to document decisions, designs and outputs with a keen eye for detail. Interested candidates will need to provide examples of previous documentation.
This is a hands on technical role as well taking leadership over the other infrastructure team members on the project. Travel to both London and France Data Centres may also be required. Having worked for a service Provider, integrator or similar is desirable
