The #1 P&C insurer in the US seeks a Senior-level Guidewire Policy Center developer to stand up a new, horizontal team that supports 6 different product teams aligned with homeowners, renters, condo product lines. In this role, you will serve as a subject-matter-resource (SMR) for the product teams, you will exhibit maturity in your ability to triage defects, make decisions around upgrades and enhancements that affect all teams and consult and mentor others. Communication and relationship building are key to this technical role, as you lead high-priority, modernization efforts that have significant executive leadership exposure.
Office Location: Richardson, TX

Competitive candidates have the following qualifications:
3 - 5 years of technical hands on experience on Guidewire applications PolicyCenter GOSU, GOSU Plugins, Screen Configuration
Full Stack Developer with hands on experience with:
Java/J2EE, SOAP/Restful webservices development
XML, HTML/JSP, Spring MVC, CSS, AJAX, Junit
Object-Oriented Programming
Version control tools experience such as GIT
Self-starter able to work autonomously and collaborativley within a diverse and dynamic team applying Agile/Scrum methodologies
Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, proven track record of mentoring and leading others.
