Senior Graphic Designer (Remote/Contract)

We’re MVRK - a creative experiential agency that perfectly blends experience design, creative technology, and engineering to create immersive brand activations, interactive experiences, innovative products, and theme park installations.

What you’ll be doing -

The Senior Graphic Designer will work within the creative team to develop visually stunning designs with a high level of technical and creative craft. You will work collaboratively within the creative team on a wide range of projects. You’ll be responsible to produce great work while providing strategic direction, leadership, and mentorship within the agency and with our agency partners. The ideal person will be a creative, conceptual, and innovative individual with a versatile, collaborative approach to the creative process. In addition, the candidate must be self-motivated, driven, and willing to be challenged. The candidate should also be able to effectively juggle multiple client projects while helping with team project management and overall creative department responsibilities.

Responsibilities -

• Work alongside the design team to create engaging, thoughtful design solutions for a variety of clients
• Conceptualizing visuals based on requirements
• Provide supplementary design support as needed
• Must be able to develop concepts and carry out solutions on a tight schedule
• Maintains high skill levels in software programs required to perform assigned job functions
• Works collaboratively with peers to create exceptional designs
• Manage and prioritize within timelines for project milestones and take personal responsibility for on-time deliverables
• Proven ability to communicate creative ideas
• Provides mentorship to junior-level employees and has an interest in professional development
• Create social media assets for our work across platforms including thumbnail images and original artwork
• Support the art director in team projects
• Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time.

Professional Experience/Skills -

• 5+ years relevant senior design experience at an ad agency or in-house marketing team
• Strong design portfolio with demonstrable ability to manage complex design projects
• Ability to create compelling design solutions for both digital and physical mediums
• Ability to design and present original concepts using mockups, sketches, storyboards, wireframes, and digital prototypes, extensive experience working with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustration, InDesign, After Effects, Premier), user interface design programs (Figma/Sketch/XD/or similar), PowerPoint (or similar).
• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to pay close attention to detail while multitasking
• Is self-motivated with a positive and collaborative attitude
• Open to new ways of working that lead the industry forward
• Is comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities

For contract/freelance, or temporary candidates, this position may be fully remote and located anywhere.

For full-time candidates, the position will be based out of our New York, NY or Orlando, FL office and is temporarily a remote position (due to COVD-19).
