Monk Presentation
Monk provides visual expertise using Computer Vision and Deep Learning algorithms. Today, the algorithm is able to detect and classify damage on any vehicle with pictures taken by a smartphone. The company has raised €2.1M from Iris Capital in particular, and is already working with leading players such as Getaround, Porsche, Autobiz or Bosch.
We are incubated at Agoranov and Platform 58. In 2020, Monk won the X-Silicon Valley prize, was nominated in the TOP 30 of Station F and won the Coup de Coeur of the Finance-Innovation prize. The team is young and dynamic. Aboubakr (co-founder & CEO) is a Mines and Polytechnique engineer. Fayçal (co-founder & CTO) graduated from Centrale Supélec and worked at Thalès. Most of the team members come from the best French research laboratories and French engineering schools. In addition to this, Monk is coached by experts in their field such as Jérémie Jakubowicz who is an IA professor at Polytechnique, Raphael Bonaque (ENS, Phd Computer Science), Belhal Karimi (Phd Machine Learning, X) as well as Patrick Sayer, ex-CEO of Eurazeo.

Missions
You will join Monk's tech team supervised by Fayçal (CTO and Co-founder) alongside Ruben (Deep Learning Researcher), Ramzi (Deep Learning Engineer), Mathis (Deep Learning Engineer), Nayef (Software Engineer), Pierre (Machine Learning Engineer) and Mohamed (Deep Learning Researcher).
As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Monk, you will work on the following projects:
Develop significant portions of our user interfaces to improve performance and user experience. Implement convincing and usable user interfaces, contribute to their design (React), lead Webapp and mobile application projects and build tools in-house Work closely with Data Scientists and UX designers to develop the best possible user experiences Lead a team of 2 to 3 people internally and manage projects with external partners Leading front-end architectural decisions for new and existing infrastructure Respect the rules of TDD (Test-Driven Development)

Preferred Experience

Prerequisites:
