Senior Front End Developer (Remote)

Experience:

• Have a great sense of website design, development and presentation
• Strong skills in layout, hierarchy, and designing for multiple platforms and sizes
• Design and Develop HTML5 mobile and desktop compatible websites
• Have worked extensively in a modern front end framework (e.g. React, Vue, Angular, etc)
• Possess skills to translate design deliverables into precompiled CSS (SASS, SCSS or LESS)
• Have the ability to implement CSS based animations and transitions
• Be on top of the latest web development trends
• Accustomed to integrating website design with lightweight CMS systems
• Ability to integrate custom REST APIs into Front End code with flux-style state management
• Have an impeccable attention to detail.
• 5+ years in implementing UI/UX designs for mobile and web apps.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information systems and/or web design related degrees
• Creative problem-solving abilities with knowledge of UI/UX patterns and best practices
• Ability to work in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate and articulate the work.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Develop UI prototypes for mobile and desktop
• Define and develop graphics with CSS as needed to support web development
• Prepare functional animations based on design spec using CSS/JS
• Produce technical web designs
• Author HTML5/CSS/Javascript and other related development languages to implement designs
• Develop digital assets & technical designs for web apps
• Work with Product Manager and UX Designer to design screen layouts, user interface graphics, icons
• Develop visual components
• Implement SEO Best Practices
• Implement interfaces with back-end CMS system
• Integrate existing API into UI
• Dictate requirements for new API spec when needed
• Support business marketing changes as needed
