Senior Front End Developer (Remote)

Las Vegas Media Inc. is looking for a senior front end developer. The candidate will work alongside the COO to plan, strategize, outline, and build the Las Vegas Media Inc. platform using server-side PHP and client side JS. The candidate will also work with graphic designers to implement pixel perfect front end designs for all device sizes.

Job Description:

We are looking for a full stack web developer who has extensive knowledge of PHP, MySQL, ES6 javascript, design patterns, code architecture, and code testing coverage. The candidate is expected to have 2+ years working with backend frameworks such as Laravel and 2+ years experience working with frontend frameworks like ReactJS.

Frontend Requirements:

• HTML5, CSS3, ES6 Javascript.
• ReactJS, VueJS, AngularJS, or similar SPA experience.
• State management with Wordpress
• Webpack bundler.
• NPM, yarn, or equivalent dependency management experience.
• CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS.
• Knowledge of AJAX, requesting APIs and parsing responses.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and grid layouts.
• Experience solving cross-browser and device compatibility, optimization, and layout issues.
• Proficiency in converting PSD compositions and Sketch docs into HTML and CSS markup.

Qualifications:

• A presented portfolio of relevant design work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate well with team members.
• Ability to work in Jira or equivalent project management tools.
• Creative and critical thinking skills.
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
