TITLE: Senior ETL Developer
LOCATION: REMOTE (must be continental US)

--NO THIRD PARTIES— - NO H1B, NO EAD, NO OPT - SUMMARY:
ETL Developer to develop ETL processes, on-going analysis, coordination, programming, and support for the Enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence initiative.
The ETL Developer is responsible for planning, designing, developing, documenting, testing and implementing data models, complex SQL programs and ETL processes.
Also, s/he will perform in-depth and precise investigation and documentation of future-state reporting specifications and application reporting functionality.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Produce data visualizations and interactive dashboards
Produce complex ad-hoc queries and reports to inform and steer production operations such as inventory management
Design and develop data extracts from SQL and Oracle databases
Develop detailed test conditions and test cases to ensure data accuracy
Gather user requirements and assist users with data interpretation
Research and troubleshoot data questions and misinterpretations
Design, develop and debug new tools to best fit the needs of a fast-paced growth
Act as a business partner to identify opportunities, generate creative solutions and develop reports, with the end-user in mind that will assist in driving business decisions
Liaise with business units by proactively identifying potential issues and collaborating on problem resolutions, team decisions, and project planning
Drive improvements in overall user experience
Work closely with external vendors when needed
Stay current on business issues, industry trends, and technology advances
QUALIFICATIONS:
5 years + professional experience as a Business Intelligence Developer or Business Intelligence Analyst
Experience in BI development utilizing one of the following: Snowflake, AWS Glue / Redshift, Google Cloud / Data Fusion, Microsoft Azure / Data Factory
Extensive knowledge and experience in Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) architecture, functions, features, and capabilities, as well as best practices regarding reporting, workflows, policies, and procedures
Extensive knowledge and experience in data visualization solutions such as QlikSense, Vizlib, Power BI, Tableau, Excel Charts or similar
Experience in collecting and processing large amounts of structured and unstructured data
Experience translating business questions and requirements into reports, views, and BI query objects; and in gathering, documenting, prioritizing and tracking requirements
Working knowledge of data warehouse concepts, data structures, and reporting
Strong analytical, problem-solving and metadata skills
Strong data analytical skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly
Experience in achieving tasks and solving problems of moderate complexity with minimal guidance
Ability to think “out of the box” to identify innovative or creative ways to approach/resolve issues
Working knowledge of machine learning (ML) and utilization of AI for predictive analytics is a plus
Excellent time management skills to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Analytics dashboard design a plus
Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in mathematics, statistics and Computer Science or related
