Our client, a leading bank in the UK, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quantexa Developer to work in their Edinburgh office on a 6 months rolling contract basis. The candidates will work remotely until Covid restrictions are in force.
Requirements:
- Hands-on programming experience in Scala or Spark
- Experience with Python or PySpark
- Experience with database querying e.g. SQL, Hive, Impala
- Experience with Hadoop and/or Elastic
- Ideally: Hands-on knowledge of Quantexa, knowledge of graph/network analytics
Responsibilities:
- To create/ assign and track the project [module] work plans for delivery and also provide technical guidance for work completion.
- To ensure process improvement and compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussions or reviews.
- To prepare and submit status reports for minimising exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
- To create work plans, monitor, and track the work schedule for on-time delivery as per the defined quality standards.
- To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
Eligibility:
