About Us
We are Officium – a Latin word for service. We believe in service—as an experience, as a business, and as a social responsibility.
We are a network of remote customer experience (CX) professionals who help companies create best-in-class support for their customers. Our “ExperienceMatters” thought leaders provide consulting and coaching to customer service companies and departments. Our TalentPlace platform, the Uber of customer service, helps connect on-demand CX workers with companies in need of CX staff.
We believe that world-class customer service builds strong customer relationships, resulting in repeat engagement and even higher sales, turning what was thought to be a cost-center into a growth opportunity. To help companies build these best-in-class services, Officium offers a set of patented standards and digital tools such as analytics, workforce planning, and automation.
Officium was originally founded in 2019 on the concept of a decentralized network of people and currencies. Our remote workforce model has the potential to disrupt current work/life environments and economies by shifting wealth from large cities to new communities around the world. We also believe in building a future of CX leaders by providing scholarships and mentor programs to disadvantage youth in the US.
Responsibilities
Officium is looking for a multi-talented designer to join our start-up company. As the only designer within a start-up, you will wear many hats and be seen as a design expert.
Product Designer. Officium is currently developing a set of online customer service tools that help companies manage workforce planning, CX related analytics, and customer workflow automation. These tools are in very early stages of development and need a designer to create the user experience and visual UI. The designer will work with an engineering team and a product manager. The designer may also help with both product and project management. In the future, there may also be opportunities for user research as the company and toolset grows.
Web Designer. Officium is redesigning our web presence and needs a designer to step in and guide the company on the web design process. The current site uses Squarespace to make it easier for different employees to update. Officium would like to continue to use Squarespace or another online tool. The web designer will help establish the website and also teach other employees how to make updates.
Identity/Brand Designer. Officium has an established brand and suite of product brands but does not have a brand guideline. The designer can improve upon the established brand suite and build out a guideline. The designer will also need to animate the suite of product brands.
Marketing Designer. Officium plans to grow our business over the next six months. The marketing designer will need to help business development with new business pitch decks and graphics that can help sell the business.
