Role: Senior Data Planner

Day rate: 390 via LTD

Start: 11th March

Duration: 17 working days.

Location: London/Farnborough.

This is a Senior Data Planner role spanning 17 days in total; one day for onboarding in London, followed by 7 days in Farnborough working directly with the end client, then another 9 days in London.

When in London this person will be working alongside the experience planning team and overseen by the Head of Data, while in Farnborough there will be little additional support, so this person needs to be confident and assertive around clients.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, strategic thinker and planner, with expert commercial and marketing skills, with a core understanding of business and web analytics. Essentially a translator of analytics into insights that can direct business decisions.

The scope of work has already been set, with the core objective of delivering a CX Dashboard (minus build) via deliverables which include:

  • Carrying out Interviews with key stakeholder to define usage requirements, objectives, and potential outputs i.e. what level of data is required by which people, so that the dashboard can be easily navigated by multiple users, and the correct metrics are being shown to the right people
  • Working closely with client data team to pinpoint data owners, data sources, available APIs, and quality of data
  • Creating a data map laying out all of the findings and establishing which metrics will sit within which measures
  • Creating a final dashboard recommendation document for phase 1 as well as future phases where possible, including; confirmed viable data sources, metrics to pull from each source, KPIs and benchmarks, manual vs API data access upload schedule, scamps for design
  • Creating a Scoping Document for future phases (excluding phase 1) to include; next data sources to be added to the dashboard (and when), any APIs which will need to be accessed, costs of accessing them, timelines, client resources required

Role-specific skills, knowledge and experience

Knowledge & Skills Required:

· A minimum of 6 years' experience within data planning roles

· Excellent Adobe Analytics skills

· Experience of working with Power BI

· Precious exposure to working with customer data

· Excel (Pivot tables, macros, etc…)

· Must be a strategic thinker with an innovative approach to data, pushing the boundaries of how data can be used to solve business problems

· Highly experienced in using data planning and analytical techniques to deliver actionable insights to clients

· Ability to interpret and array of data sets and understand relevancy and robustness

· Must have experience of data capture strategies and how to push these through to implementation

· Experienced in business casing and ROI development

A strong track record of impressing both internal and external clients with their knowledge and experience
