Senior IOS and Android Developer - Java Back-end Developer

We are a start-up company looking to hire a Senior Android Developer - Java back-end with at least 5 years of experience.

Looking for a Software Engineer capable of building an application suite from the ground up (we have already developed the MVP) and leading other team members throughout the development process. Must understand security for HIPPA compliance, PII Data Integrity, and PCI compliance. We are a startup that needs to get this app development completed and operational within 30 to 90 days from the hire date in January.

You should be able to operate without much direction, but be excited to work closely with a team. We want a developer who is opinionated about smart ways to build, yet humble enough to listen and take input well. We’re looking for a developer who cares deeply about the quality of their code. This is a contract job in which you will be working remotely and closely with a team.

Requirements:

• Previous experience building back-end services with Java architecture
• Knowledge of highly scaled cloud-based microservices
• Solid grasp of REST API Integrations
• Bachelor's Degree in CS or related field
• Experience with big data technologies
• Experience with distributed architecture and systems design
• Digital Signal Processing (DSP) or image processing
