Senior Adobe Developer

JMA Solutions has a full-time opportunity for a Senior Adobe Developer supporting the Federal Aviation Administration. This position is located in Herndon, VA.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Provide information technology services in:
• Facilities planning

• Storage systems analysis
• Design/test, and administration
• Server system analysis
• Design/test and administration
• Database analysis
• Design/test and administration
• Website analysis
• Design/test, and administration
• Web application analysis
• Design/test and administration
• LAN analysis
• Design/test and administration
• User support planning
• Operations and administration
• Other related IT systems functions

Job Requirements

• The successful candidate will have at least eight years of experience with Java, J2EE Development with at least 1 year of AEM experience.
• Experience in Adobe Experience Manager (v 5.6.1, 6.0 and higher) components and templates development, AEM Workflows.
• Experience in customizing AEM workflows and deploying them into production environment.
• Experience in creating AEM Components, Templates, Dialogues, Pages and Bundle.
• Templating Languages (HTL, Sightly)
• Experience using web services (REST, APIs and JSON), AngularJS, Javascript, Query, HTML5, and CSS3 of user-facing features.
• Ability to fine-tune AEM application for optimal performance, including configuring Threads, Heap, GC Policy. FEO, JS and CSS minification and optimization. Should be familiar with application profilers

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Experience in Web Content Management domain.
• Strong analytical skills
• DAM, OSGI, Apache Felix, Apache Sling, JCR, Apache Jackrabbit, CRX, REST, Servlet, JSP, Java Content Repository.
• Experienced on AEM administration activities like Packaging and Deployments with Maven and Jenkins, using core frameworks such as Apache Sling and Apache Felix, Deployments on TarMK / MongoMK, OSGI Felix configuration, Dispatcher and CDN Caching, Release management, Performance testing etc.
• Experience in upgrading AEM newer versions.
• Other skills that would be beneficial: .Net, SQL, C# and HTML5

SECURITY CLEARANCE: The ability to successfully obtain and maintain a U.S. Suitability/Public Trust Background Clearance

EDUCATION: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. A Bachelor's Degree in one of the following fields: Information Systems, Business Systems, Management Information Systems, IT Management, or other IT degrees. Engineering, Math, and/or Science degrees are acceptable substitute degrees. Any combination of degree, certification and relevant experience will be considered if the relevant experience requirement is satisfied.
