Security Developer (SC Cleared) – 6 month Contract – £550 per day – Remote Working

**Candidates wishing to be considered must hold valid and in date SC Clearance. Unfortunately due to the nature of the project we are unable to consider applicants who do not hold existing SC.
The Security Developer works with others to specify, develop and implement the technical security requirements and converse with the necessary systems to support required security profiles for the organisation
The role is expected to provide technical expertise into delivery requirements; to develop, validate and review conceptual, logical and physical security designs;
Core Skills
Essential:
* Oracle Next Generation Cloud based Virtual Machine installation
* Firewall Ruleset Configuration (Fortinet/Palo Alto)
* Security Event Logging Aggregation (syslog) to SPLUNK Agents working closely with our SOC
* Vulnerability Management experience
* Patch Management experience
* Knowledge of public cloud (IaaS) technologies including relevant security and IAM controls
* Security administration and auditing of privileged systems access.
* Practical experience using computer operating systems such as MS Windows from a security perspective and Linux configuration Skills (Syslog, Scripting)
* VPN Configuration and Policy Creation
* Logging and Monitoring Configuration and Installation
Desirable
* IDCS/IDP (Oracle and/or Azure)
* Oracle Fusion
* Oracle IaaS/PaaS
* Tenable – Nessus Product Installation experience
* Proven background in security models, solutions, and products
* Knowledge of DNS, routing, caching, WAF, DDoS, TLS, security service management
Experience
* 3+ years development experience in a security/firewall environment
* 3+ years’ experience of security on a PaaS Cloud
* Change/Release Processes
