£500/day (Outside IR35)
Java Developer needed with active SC Security Clearance for a 6 Month Rolling Contact, including the option to work remotely from home (WFH). Outside IR35. Start asap ideally in September 2022.
A chance to work with a leading global IT transformation business on large-scale digital modernisation projects for Government clients.
Key experience + tasks will include:
- Developing new features for large-scale micro-services solutions + web applications using Java 8/11 and Spring Boot.
- Experience of JEE standards (-eg- JPA, JMS, CDI), REST APIs, Domain Driven Design (DDD) + Oracle databases.
- CI and DevOps technologies including hands-on experience of Jenkins, Git, Ansible or Terraform.
- AWS Cloud environments including: ECS, EKS, API Gateway + Serverless tech.
- Advantageous Skills: Docker, Kubernetes, Containers, single page application frameworks (React / Angular), Kafka, RabbitMQ, web services, messaging, distributed systems + Government / Public Sector projects.
- Active SC Security Clearance is essential for this contract.
