BNL Consulting is actively seeking a SAS ETL Consultant. This is a six-month (1099) contract in Cary, NC, but remote work is acceptable. The ideal candidate will have significant experience developing ETL solutions using Base SAS, including SAS Macro, as well as SAS Data Integration Studio.
Primary Role and Responsibilities:
* Design and implement solutions that help our customers make better decisions using SAS and data
* Extract data from a variety of data sources, transform data, and load it into large data stores (data warehouses, data lakes, etc.)
* Profile data for data quality
* Cleanse data
* Report creation using SAS
Must-haves:
* Must work from the domestic United States
* Must be authorized to work in the US
* Extensive knowledge of the SAS 9.4 Platform Products and Architecture
* 4+ years of SAS coding experience
* Experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting enterprise SAS solutions
* Familiar with the SAS Viya Platform
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Experienced with working in Linux environments, including basic command-line skills
* 4+ years developing ETL batch processes
* 1+ years of experience working with SAS DI Studio
Nice-to-haves:
* ETL and data warehousing experience in support of BI and reporting systems
* Advanced report design and build experience
* Experience with relational and multi-dimensional databases and data management tools
* Experience in technical lead role
* Ability to effectively communicate designs and decisions to peers, customers and management
* Experience with delivering a SAS solution on one of the following areas:
* Experience working with Fraud, Risk, and/or Retail solutions
* Experience with SAS Viya Programming
* Experience with SAS Visual Analytics
