SAS ESP Developer (Remote)

We have a requirement for a SAS ESP Developer for our client.

Experience:

• Credit Risk, Data Integration (DRP) to source new data from entities, Data Lineage.
• Experience in SAS ESP is require
• Provide expertise and hands on experience working on Kafka connect using schema registry in a very high-volume environment.
• Provide expertise in Kafka brokers, KSQL, KStream and Kafka Control center.
• Use automation tools like provisioning using SAS ESP.
• Ability to perform data related benchmarking, performance analysis and tuning.
• Strong skills in In-memory applications, Database Design, Data Integration.
• Proven expertise in Kafka, SAS ESP and SQL etc.
• Awareness of dimensional modeling, Star Schemas, Data Marts
• Good KSQL programming skills / knowledge of Databases
• Good Communications Skills, highly motivated, quick learner

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development, enhancement and maintenance of applications both as an individual contributor and as a team member.
• Perform data quality analysis using SAS programs and DI tools
• Sourcing data from various systems and in multiple formats using SAS Code, SQL, SAS ESP, Kafka.
• ETL job development and customization for SAS solutions using DI Studio
• Leading in the identification, isolation, resolution and communication of problems within the production environment.
• Leading developer and applying technical skills Apache/Confluent Kafka.
• Design recommend best approach suited for data movement from different sources to HDFS using Apache/Confluent Kafka
• Works on multiple platforms concurrently like SAS, SAS ESP, Apache/Confluent Kafka
• Performs code and unit testing for complex scope modules, and projects
• Configure and maintain database servers and processes
• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
• Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
