A major retailer is looking to add to their Analytics function with a talented SAS Analyst who will offer stress-test & validate the data migration project. This role will be sitting alongside Data Engineers to perform checks on data loads, and deliver presentations on regular errors.

THE ROLE:

As a SAS Analyst, you will be expected to analyse data loads for quality and completeness, performing checks to ensure that the migration has been successful.

In specific, you can expect to be involved in the following:

• Performing extensive data querying of the dataset in SAS
• Identifying errors and presenting these to senior stakeholders
• Handling and analysing data within SAS, fixing non-performant code
• Managing interactions with stakeholders, both technical and non-technical

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The successful SAS Analyst will have the following skills and experience:

• A good degree in a numerate subject from a reputable university
• High A-Level grades including an 'A' grade in Maths/Further Maths
• Some SAS experience is essential, experience working with Macros & ProcSQL is also highly desirable
• The ability to extract relevant information from data and translate that to business language
• Presentation skills

THE BENEFITS:

The successful SAS Analyst will receive between £300-375 per day over the initial 3 month period, with a strong chance of extension.
