Essential Job Functions:
Develop and maintain Custom SAP Objects like screens, RFC, BAPI, BADI, User exits, inbound and outbound interfaces, ABAP/4 Reports, ABAP Query, and Report Writer and Report Painter reports in the areas of FI, CO, FM and MM modules
Write Low Level Design, Unit Testing Plan, and Unit Test case documentation
Design, develop, code review, bug-fix, and test the application
Assist in Integration Testing
Assist in any documentation or any artifacts needed for OIS clearance
Coordinate day-to-day communication between team in Chennai and HQ
Educational Qualifications and Experience:
2+ role Specific Experience:
Experience in writing interfaces between SAP and legacy systems, including data migration, data validation, and data conversion
Experience with ABAP/4 Query, ALV, and Report Writer and Report Painter tools
Experience with BAPI and RFC technology
IT experience with SAP ABAP/4 programming
Technical experience with FI (General Ledger, Special Purpose Ledger), Controlling, Budgeting, and Funds Management, Travel, and Materials Management modules of SAP
Certification Requirements:
SAP ABAP certification
Skills/Abilities Requirements:
Good understanding of the following: database tables used in FI, CO, FM, Travel and MM modules
Hands-on SAP ABAP code optimization techniques
Solid knowledge in the development and testing methodologies and quality practices
Ability to design and develop complex SAP objects, including module pool
Experience in SAP cluster tables and cluster programming
Sound knowledge in SAP web service implementation
Interface knowledge with SAP Components like PI, BI and external web applications is a plus
Exposure to SAP Fiori – UX, Personas is an added advantage
