Job Summary
Role: Salesforce Developer with Lightening
Duration: Long term
Location: Remote
This is a remote role with occasional travel for meetings (client funded)

Required Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of application design and development experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing and customizing Salesforce application via web services, Apex, SOQL, Visualforce, Lightning, Eclipse IDE, Data Loader, Reports and Dashboards
• 2+ years of working with clients and vendors developing solutions and supporting projects from requirements gathering to release management
• Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications
• Manage multiple assignments and deadlines
• Willingness to travel up to 80%

Responsibilities and Duties
Roles & Responsibilities

• This role includes hands-on development and leadership responsibilities which typically has a split of 50% development work and 50% developer lead work
• Leadership responsibilities include:
• Leads and owns technical aspects of a Salesforce implementations and / or customizations including configuration, custom development, unit testing, data migration, data quality, systems integrations, 3rd party applications, and AppExchange products
• Must have the ability to design solutions and manages teams developing, testing and supporting OOTB and custom Salesforce.com applications using Apex Triggers, Visualforce or Sites pages, Web Services, Saleforce.com Metadata API etc. as appropriate using code authoring tools such as Eclipse IDE to satisfy the applications’ business requirements.
• Provide technical leadership, setting best practices (e.g., integration and application development, deployment, testing, iterative refinement)
• Oversee a development team and assigns appropriate tasks to developers based on their skills and competencies. Must also follow tasks to their completion.
• Identify, design and implement innovative ways to improve business processes and productivity using Salesforce, makes thoughtful recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace
• Defines, communicates, and manages a change management (release) process to develop and implement new applications/code and updates to existing applications/code, likely in conjunction with a client’s release management team
• Supports the creation of customizations and integrations required for solution delivery while meeting the best practices of the practice and that of the client
• Offer feedback to development team through code review of the teams completed work.
• Develops estimates for projects
• Review stories and then provide developers with additional information needed to allow the development team to code as autonomously as possible
• Schedules and leads daily onshore / offshore stand up meetings
• Researches Salesforce capabilities as needed to suit business requirements, and provide gap analysis, stays current with the ecosystem and technical capabilities

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Development Responsibilities include:

• Develops custom applications using apex, Visualforce, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS
• Develops and maintains Salesforce Lightning components
• Applies best practices and experience to build Salesforce applications.
• Works closely with other developers in the team, business analyst, QA analyst and project managers
• Demonstrates an ability to migrate metadata between salesforce environments using change sets and other tools as needed (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub are a plus)
• Deliver development successfully to the client

Certifications

• Salesforce Platform Developer I (Platform Developer II a plus)
• Certified Salesforce Administrator
