Avanti Recruitment's Key client based in Central London is currently seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails developer for a 3-6 month contract. You will be required to work in a fast paced environment with innovative ideas and you will be working as part of an Agile development team and closely with business analyst's to ensure you deliver the right technical solutions to the business.
Key Skills
Solid commercial experience in Ruby on Rails.
Front End Web development experience (HTML, CSS, Javascript, Bootstrap, jQuery)
Familiar with typical cloud hosting stack - AWS, Linux, Apache, MySQL
Experience working with Web API's (JSON, Rest, SOAP)
Familiar with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and related tools (Jira).
Familiar with TDD/BDD development methodologies.
Familiar with version control (Git, GitHub)
Experience with VueJS or other Javascript frameworks - advantageous.
