Ruby on Rails Developer (Remote)

Six Month Contract possibly leading to Permanent Position

Looking for an experienced rail developers maintain, fix, upgrade, and expand an existing rails codebase at a medium sized manufacturing company. This will involve completing an upgrade from rails 4 to rails 5 (and 6) and migrating some pages to vue.js with a json interface to the existing rails code. Some of this work has been completed. There is also a long term expansion of a web SOA that is underway. This could lead to a long term contract if you are a good fit. We use git/gitlab, ansible deployment, and an Oracle back-end (comparable DB experience is sufficient).

You must be a US citizen living in the US and be able to provide proof of such.

This is in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. Being able to be on-site at least some of the time is a significant plus. However, all applications that meet the rest of the requirements will be considered.

Salary: $60.00 to $70.00 /hour
