Primary Talent Partner is a staffing firm supporting clients nationally. This position is an 8 month contract, with extensions available in Reston, VA with a great client of ours. If hired for this position, you would be an hourly contractor of Primary Talent Partners reporting to and taking instructions from the end client hiring manager.

The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer will identify, analyze, design, and maintain RPA solutions using COTS tools (e.g. Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, UiPath and/or OpenSpan), to gain operational efficiencies within the program.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement new/enhanced products, services and/or operational changes using robotic process automation (RPA) Serve as an robotic process automation (RPA) advisor, mentor and technical specialist to management and staff Hold learning sessions with service area stakeholders to educate them on what RPA is and how it can positively impact their business
  • Elicit and analyze service area stakeholder requirements to design robotic process automation (RPA) solutions that yield tangible efficiencies for the organization and its customers
  • Use assessment tools and techniques to recommend prioritization of activities
  • Develop RPA roadmaps with clear prioritization and execution plans
  • Quantify benefit potential of process automation candidates, using ROI frameworks to aid in prioritization of development
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize requirements for automation
  • Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
  • Design, develop and manage "bots" to automate manual business processes In coordination with quality assurance, develop metrics to monitor RPA implementation to measure efficiency over time
  • Serve as point of contact to manage relationships with stakeholders. This includes reporting status, managing priorities, creating a backlog and defining future areas of potential automation
  • Resolve issues that arise in day-to-day running of the RPA processes and providing timely responses/solutions

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics, engineering or other technical discipline is required
  • Six to nine years of overall IT software development experience
  • Experience in End-to-End development of Business Process execution using Robotic Process Automation Experience designing, developing and implementing RPA "bots" which automate real-world, non-trivial business processes
  • Two years’ experience with developing “Bots” using COTS tools
  • Two years’ experience participating in projects that implement Robotic Process Automation (RPA) using COTS tools
  • Minimum of 2 years of business analysis experience that include eliciting, creating business requirements deliverables and process mapping and design
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with MS-Visio or other process visualization tools where you have created diagrams to capture business processes
  • Experience working directly with process owners in the development of process automation solutions
  • Demonstrated competence in Python, c#, vbnet or .net
  • Excellent communication skills
