Client located in Denver, Colorado (Lowry) is seeking a Python API Developer for a long term contract position. This position will join a nine person team responsible for developing APIs. Responsibilities will include design, development, testing, implementation and documentation. Initial projects will include doing an inventory of existing APIs, rewriting or upgrading APIs as necessary and documenting changes. Client has multiple APIs that were written in Ruby that will need to be analyzed and rewritten to meet current needs.Required -Python development expertise.-Experience developing APIs. -Strong understanding of best practices (documentation, peer reviews, etc.).-Cloud experience (preferably Google Cloud Platform or AWS). Desired-Any Salesforce experience. -Ruby on Rails.
