An employer in Life Sciences is seeking a contractor to work a 6-month contract in support of their clinical trials. This person will be a Junior / Mid-level Java Developer. They are looking for an experienced and talented Java developer who has experience working in agile teams. Works individually and within teams to analyze needs, determine requirements, develop applications & UIs, and maintain or extend applications to support the information technology of business and operational users.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelors degree
2-3 years of experience reading and writing Java code
2 years of experience working with Sping/ Spring Boot
Experienced in Object-Oriented programming and knowledge of one or more OOP languages (Perl a plus)
Ability to work both on the front and backend (full stack development) modern JavaScript framework such as Angular, React, or Vue
Experience with the bootstrap CSS framework

Desired Skills

Experience with Perl
Experience with the d3.js library in creating reusable custom graphs in a business intelligence or dashboard setting
4 years of relevant experience
Database Administration
UI design
Cloud services experience (Azure, AWS, etc.)
