Job Overview
The Cloud Architect drives value through their deep hands on experience with Kubernetes and Google Cloud.
Responsibilities:
Partner with Enterprise Cloud Architects and help the Digital Services team in design and development of automated Kubernetes platforms, deployment pipelines, and cloud-ready application architecture. Guide implementations of cloud-ready applications and deployment pipelines on large-scale container platform clusters using technologies like Java, Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes. Partner with application, information, integration, and infrastructure architects to help position appropriate usage of technology for commercial technology solutions. Qualifications:
Must have working experience with Google Cloud Platform products. Experience with structured Enterprise Architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise-to-cloud migration deployments and roadmaps. Experience in network infrastructure, security, and application development. Experience in building, architecting, designing, and implementing distributed cloud-based systems. Proven Cloud Native and Cloud Friendly implementation experience Knowledge of technology solutions and ability to learn emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space Proven experience as a tech lead or architect Understanding of data architecture, software engineering, APIs and integration concepts, Data Streaming, Machine Learning Experience with modern development methodologies & approaches such as Agile, DevOps, CICD Experience or familiarity with logging and monitoring dashboard tools such as ELK stack, Splunk, Fluentd, Grafana etc.
