Position Description

As a Frontend developer at Epyphite, your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.

This is a remote position that can be done from anywhere within the Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific time zones. Resumes and communication must be submitted in English.
*Responsibilities:
You will work directly with the full development team (Technical Project Manager, Product Owner, Frontend Architect, Design Team, and additional developers) to contribute to the full-cycle of responsive and robust web applications.

Practical responsibilities involve:

• Developing new user-facing features using the React Next.js framework.

• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code

• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

• Maintaining and updating the Storybook within the project

• Excellent time-management skills

• Great interpersonal and communication skills

• Team player

Requirements:

• 4+ years of continuous frontend development utilizing React.js

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript

• Thorough understanding of React Next.js framework and React’s core principles

• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)

• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)

• Experience with GraphQL

• Experience with Storybook

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs

• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms

• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services

• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools

• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.

• Familiarity with design tools (such as Invision and Zeplin)

• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

• A knack for benchmarking and optimization

• Familiarity with code versioning tool Git

• Experience with Atlassian tooling (Jira, Bitbucket, etc.)

• Experience with common javascript libraries (such as moment, d3, vue, node, etc.)

Pay: $44,149.00 - $60,000.00 per year
