React Native Developer (Remote)

We are looking for a React Native developer for a contract position that will be maintaining and developing our mobile apps on both iOS and Android. You will be working with a small group of people across the company and have clear input to the direction of the app development.

Responsibilities:

• Primary developer of the existing code base for an E-Commerce Application for Android and iOS.
• Produce clean, efficient code and recommend improvements to existing codebase.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing codebase
• Work closely with Director of Digital Product and other departments to ensure proper functionality and features are being developed rapidly with existing UI/UX systems
• Contribute and document the codebase that will make future development easier
• Keep up-to-date on current and upcoming features in relevant products and platforms.

Qualifications:

• Ability to quickly understand existing code base written with React Native
• Ability to implement Android or iPhone native code
• Ability to deploy iOS and Android apps through their respected app stores
• 1+ year experience minimum working with established apps with international distribution
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, Git
• Knowledge of mobile payments, ecommerce, etc. a plus.

Contract will be 6 months with the option to expand to 12 months.

Compensation based on experience.

We are based in Ipswich, MA. Remote work a possibility for the right person.
