React Developer - Investment Banking - London £700 - £850 Per Day - 6 Month Initial contract
Overview: Our client, a leading tier one investment bank are looking for a React Developer to join their fixed income technology division.
Responsibilities: The work assignments will include playing a key developer role in major project related work and responsibility for small projects and specific support tasks. Projects will include custom development, implementation and integration of vendor products, and enhancement/support of existing systems.
Requirements: • Minimum 3-5 years front end development experience • Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills • Willing to learn new programming languages and technologies • Ability to work well with both business managers, traders and developers • Ability to learn and adapt quickly and Excellent problem solving skills
Technical: • Programming skills: Javascript (Mandatory), HTML / CSS (Mandatory) • Javascript frameworks: ReactJS (Mandatory), AngularJS, jQeury (Optional), • Other Technologies: Caplin Trader, Ag-grid, Openfin, Node, npm, webpack • Design Skills: Invisionapp, Sketch App, or equivalent • Exposure to Automated Testing Frameworks for Web Applications (Mandatory) • Exposure to Streaming and RESTful Web Applications • Tools: SVN, Git, Team City, Maven
Business (Preferable): • Previous experience working for a Financial Services firm. • Previous experience working in the Front Office. • Fixed Income Credit & Rates Bond / Repo trading system experience
