Job Purpose

As SAP Hybris QA Engineer in Digital Commerce, you are responsible for testing of the pan-EU Digital B2B platform, and deliver QA support in line with the DevOps way of working. You will ensure that the software developed products are tested, through automation and manually, and support other OpCos maintain the high standards in testing as defined by the CoE.

* Reporting to: QA Lead

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

* Understand the business requirements and acceptance criteria in the form of user stories
* Assessing the complexity of user stories as part of the Scrum process
* Translating user stories into testable steps
* Creating and maintaining efficient, reusable manual and automated test cases
* Identifying bottlenecks, and help devise solutions to these problems
* Delivering work products within the allocated timescale
* Ensuring the running the regression tests against all code updates
* Ensuring work products are delivered to agreed quality standards that minimize rework and aspire to a zero defect culture
* Completing Functional and Integration testing of work products in line with agreed processes
* Providing OpCo testing support as required, in line with the defined testing process
* Helping to maintain code quality, organisation, and automation

Measures of success

* The testing of product releases within agile project management boundaries (i.e. scope, time, budget)
* Work Products delivered on time and to high quality standards
* Achievement of platform performance KPIs (e.g. efficiency and coverage of the automated regression tests)

We're looking for a QA Engineer, who has high attention to detail, personal initiative and commitment to quality. The team would like to have someone who can quickly adapt to shifting approaches, situations and priorities. You will be working with the dynamic team, in a quality-driven development environment - arguments about what is a bug and what is a feature, isn't a thing in our office.

Desired qualifications (knowledge and skills)

* Bachelor/Master degree in a technical field (e.g., CS, math, physics or similar)

Experience

* At least 5-years experience in web application and API testing
* Solid understanding of QA methodologies and processes
* Worked on large multi country deployments
* Worked in Agile at Scale.
* A deep knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS and JavaScript)
* Experience in mobile apps testing (iOS/Android)
* Experience with automation tools and technologies like Selenium, Webdriver IO, Cucumber, Jenkins, VSTS or other tools
* Experience using common issue tracking & test management tools such as JIRA and Zephyr
* Experience of working in Agile based teams
* Familiarity with exploratory and session-based testing
